Feast Day of Saint Andrew Dung-Lac and Companions - November 24

St. Andrew Dung-Lac, a catholic convert that was ordained a priest in 1823, was one of the 117 people martyred in Vietnam between 1820 and 1862. The members of this group gave their lives for Christ and were beatified on four separate occasions between 1900 and 1951 and were canonized by Saint John Paul II in 1988.
